Recently, in Newberry, we learned that the mill village has become a main source of housing for hispanic families. Is this true in other mill villages around the state?
How could these people be engaged to become vested in preserving and rehabilitating these historic resources?

Many mill houses have been altered over the years with additions, vinyl siding, and asbestos. The original windows and doors are gone. Are they worthy of being preserved?

SC Textile Community Revitalization Act
